Certification Information
The Regional Office of Education is responsible for the processing of teacher certification to the Illinois State Board of Education. Certificate registration, applications for state certificates and endorsements are processed through Regional Offices. If you have questions or wish to submit certification documents, and are employed or are not currently employed but live in Lee or Ogle County please contact Pam Brey by email (pbrey@leeogle.org) or phone (815-652-2054 ext. 223). If you are employed in a school district located outside of Lee or Ogle County or if you are not currently employed and live outside of Lee or Ogle county, contact the Regional Office (http://www.iarss.org/directory.html) that serves the county where you live. Educators who no longer live in Illinois register or apply through the Regional Office that last registered their certificates.
